How exactly do I make a reservation?
The first step is to choose a date and time from our calendar, and then submit a request form. This is submitted to us, and we then check availability. If space is available, we send you an invoice by email, and once payment is received, your space is confirmed.
Do we allow single diners?
Yes we do, but we ask that you email us at reservations@elideas.com with the date and time of your request, and we will get back to you the following day. Please include a billing zip code and phone number, along with any dietary restrictions.
What if I have dietary restrictions?
We accept almost all dietary restrictions (including vegan), and there is a place on the reservation request for you to list them.
What is the cost of dinner?
Dinner costs $185 per person ($245 after tax and service charge).
Is parking available?
Yes, street parking is free, and there is access to a lot on the north side of the street (up the little hill). You are permitted to park there, the no parking signs are for events at Cinespace.
What beverages should we bring?
Whatever you love!! That said, sparkling is always a good place to start, followed by a light bodied white and/or a light bodied red (avoid big/young cabs and overly-oaky/malolactic chards). Beer also pairs very well. Your local wine shop could lead you in a better direction with specifics, and we work closely with Perman Wines (permanwines.com) who does a great job and can even deliver.
What is the dress code?
We don’t have a code, but request to be dressed for a night on the town as opposed to a day at the beach :)

EL ideas is a part of the Douglas Park neighborhood of Chicago and is about 15 minutes from Chicago’s Loop/downtown. We are located at 14th and Western, just south of I-290.
Turn down the dead end street; EL ideas is located on the first floor in the 3-story building on the left.
